TABCOTE® Technology

Worlds First Polymer Coated Plant Nutrient Tablet

The nutrient core supplies the food. The polymer coating controls its release. Tablet makes it easy to apply.

Follow the release

Water in. Nutrition out.

From the nutrient core to the root zone, in three connected steps.

  1. 01

    Inside the tablet

A cutaway tablet showing the nutrient core enclosed by its polymer coating
    Nutrient core + coating

Water-soluble nutrients are formulated for the plant, then compressed into a tablet and enclosed in a biodegradable coating.

  2. 02

    Moisture enters

Blue water droplets crossing the coating into the tablet core
    Water → Coating → Core

Water passes through the coating and dissolves nutrients within the core. The blue droplets and inward arrows show the path.

  3. 03

    Nutrients release

Nutrients moving from the core through the coating into the surrounding root zone
Core → Coating → Root zone

Dissolved nutrients move outward through the membrane. The coating meters their delivery into the surrounding root zone over time.

Designed around the plant. Built for the grower.

Four practical advantages.

01

Plant-specific nutrients

Every TABCOTE formulation is custom-made for a specific plant type and its feeding requirements. High-quality plant nutrients are combined in ratios matched to the plant’s nutrient uptake profile.

02

Precision release biodegradable coating

All TABCOTE products use a certified biodegradable coating. It meters nutrient release to match uptake through the plant’s growth cycle, helping minimise fertilizer loss to the environment.

03

Easy, precise application

The nutrients are compressed into tablets that are easy to handle and apply. A fixed number per plant makes the recommended dose clear, helping avoid under- or over-application.

04

Dust-free handling

Every tablet is fully coated, so handling and application produce no fertilizer dust. The large, easy-to-place format also helps prevent spills.

Temperature and moisture influence release. Keep tablets intact and follow the recommended dose and placement for your plant.
